The early signing period opened this morning and Michigan State scored its first big recruiting win of the day. Keyshawn Blackstock, one of the best offensive linemen in the 2023 class signed his letter of intent to play for the Spartans.

Blackstock (6-foot-5, 315 pounds) was an incredibly popular recruit. The first college team to make an offer it was the Georgia Southern Eagles on September 7th. Blackstock has since picked up 45 other offers, including Auburn, South Carolina, Tennessee and USC. According to On3’s predictive model, Oregon was the favorite to land it.
Michigan State’s 2023 recruiting class is now No. 24 in the country.
