The blue-chip cornerback is targeting Florida

Four-star cornerback Ja’Kim Jacksontold On3 he plans to take an unofficial visit to the Gators’ season opener vs AP poll the seventh team Utah Utes.

Jackson is one of several four-star recruits to commit to the Gators this summer, and his upcoming visit will be his first as a committed member of Florida’s 2023 recruiting class. His unofficial visit won’t be his only stop in Gainesville this season. Jackson said Corey Bender of On3 he intends to take his official visit later this fall, with an eye toward LSU home match on 15 Oct.

Before committing to the Gators in July, the Under Armor All-American took three official visits chestnut (6/10), Penn State (6/17) and Tennessee (6/24). Taking into account his official visit to Gainesville in the fall, Jackson has just one official visit remaining, per NCAA rules. Jackson has not met with another program since his commitment.
