The nation’s top high school football players competed at the Alamodome (San Antonio, Texas) on Saturday for the 2023 All-American Bowl, a final curtain call for much of the early signing hype and Class of 2023 headlines that began in December.
Although the current recruiting cycle has been a heyday of reversals and breaking news seemingly every hour of the day, the All-American Bowl didn’t continue the trend: when the clock struck zero in the fourth, the East emerged victorious, defiantly handling the West 55 -17.
However, the result didn’t mean there wasn’t plenty of highlight reel material throughout the game — a sign of what college football fans can expect to see in the coming seasons.
At the front of that pack was five-star UCLA signee Dante Moore.
For the one-sided effort, Moore took home MVP honors and his performance stood out as more than deserving of a nod. The talented QB finished the day atop an impressive crop of signal-callers who took snaps during the game: 14-for-19 passing, 156 passing yards and four touchdown passes.
Here’s a look at all four scoring games, each of which should excite Bruins nation immensely. Head coach Chip Kelly, too.

Moore also reached out to Buckeyes signee Brandon Innis, who made headlines last week for his decision not to pursue ZERO dollars.

Finally, touchdown #4 sealing the MVP for the Martin Luther King (Michigan) product. The performance led many to praise the talented QB, calling his All-American Bowl display one of the best of all time.
