4-star OT Monroe Freeling has committed to Georgia

The Georgia Bulldogs won the College Football National Championship this past season on the strength of a dominant defense and consistent wins in the trenches. And they are already working hard to build their line of the future.

On Monday, the school marked a commitment from one of the top offensive tackles in the 2023 recruiting class. According to Sports IllustratedOceanside Collegiate Academy (SC) offensive tackle Monroe Freeling has committed to play his college ball at Georgia.

Here’s a clip of Freeling making the news official.

Freeling (6-foot-7, 283 pounds) is South Carolina’s top-ranked recruit and is the No. 13 prospect at his position.

He had offers from 26 schools, including Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame and Miami.

This is the fourth offensive lineman and 19th overall 2023 commitment for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs. They are currently ranked third in the recruitment of ranking classes behind Texas and Alabama.
