The Moda Center in Portland, Oregon will be the venue for the 24th Nike Hoop Summit on April 8, where elite high school basketball players from the United States will face off against an international crop of talent.
This year’s event also features an opening tip for the women’s game, in which Archbishop Mitty (Calif.) coach Sue Phillips will lead a select group of America’s top athletes.
Although the U.S. rosters were announced in February, the details of the international teams remained unknown β other than they were approved by FIBA, basketball’s international governing body.
But the full extent of what’s on offer is now clear, with the two World Select squads to be revealed on March 24.
Here’s a look at the four lineups.

Overall, the matchups are intriguing, an excellent barometer β albeit a short one β to see how skill sets stack up from a world perspective.
Will it be βUSA all the wayβ?
If this is not the case, it will not be for lack of experience: The female and male casts have combined 26 gold medals from national team competitions; the USA men currently have a 16-7 overall win over the world team.
