Spezza visited the school on Saturday. After announcing his decision, he told 247 Sports it felt like home and had everything he was looking for.
“I chose Penn State because it has everything I’m looking for… It has the academics, the staff, the culture, the players and everything is in a state. I felt good when I was there. I felt at home.”
It didn’t take long for Speca to start recruiting other athletes for the Nittany Lions. Later in the day, he shared a preview of five-star athlete Quinton Martin of Belle Vernon (Pa.), who is ranked as the top recruit in the state and 25th nationally in his class.
