Deion Sanders’ son Shedeur will probably start as Colorado’s quarterback this upcoming season. The rest of their depth chart at QB, however, is a work in progress. They took another significant step forward today by adding a new quarterback to their 2024 class.
Cathedral (Ind.) three-star QB Danny O’Neal announced this morning that he has committed to Colorado. Here is his message shared on Twitter.

I want to thank my coaches at Cathedral and the Morelli family for supporting me and making me the player I am today. Over the past two seasons as a starter, O’Neal has thrown for a combined 5,610 yards and 65 touchdown passes to go with just nine interceptions. He’s no Michael Vick, but he can deliver on the ground, totaling 19 touchdowns and 598 yards as a rusher during that time.
According to the composite rankings, O’Neal (6-foot-0, 185 pounds) is 33rd among defensemen in his class and No. 6 overall in the state of Indiana.
Colorado won 18 other college programswith leading contenders including Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville and Purdue.
