Jill Biden tested positive for COVID-19 weeks after Joe Biden

(KIAWAH ISLAND, SC) – First Lady Jill Biden has tested positive for COVID-19 and had “mild symptoms,” the White House announced Tuesday.

She was vacationing with President Joe Biden in South Carolina when she began experiencing symptoms on Monday. It is prescribed the antiviral drug Paxlovid and will self-isolate in the vacation home for at least five days.

Joe Biden tested negative for the virus Tuesday morning, the White House said, but will wear a mask indoors for 10 days in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. He recovered from bounce case of the virus on Aug. 7
