Small school win: 4-star SG Isaiah Coleman has committed to Seton Hall

Typically, the recruiting game is dominated by prominent programs with huge budgets to spend. Every now and then, though, a small school scores a big win. Here is one such example.

Word of God Academy (NC) four-star linebacker Isaiah Coleman announced his commitment to Seton Hall on Monday, according to Joe Tipton at On3.

Coleman (6-foot-5, 180 pounds) was previously signed with the College of Charleston and had a total of 14 offers, including ones from Mississippi State, UConn and Georgetown.

Jamie Shaw’s scouting report on Coleman at On3 praised his confidence, length and athleticism, as well as the lack of obvious skill weaknesses in his game.

According to the composite ranking, Coleman is 110th overall in the class of 2023. While landing him is an undeniable blow to Seton Hall, his arrival only adds to their recruiting ranking up to number 89 in the state.
