The football playoffs brought the social media world to life on Friday night, with several games grabbing our attention during the frenzy.
Silsbee (Texas) had a double feat of heroics on fourth down, including a touchdown grab by Drelon Miller that was easily one of the tightest catches of the season. And up in Pennsylvania, Bishop McDevitt’s Stone Saunders connected with Rico Scott for a 30-yard touchdown as the Crusaders held off Crestwood to set up a second straight appearance in the PIAA Class 4A State Championship.
But the highlight came from the hardwood, “Well, hello! My name is AJ Dibanza!” moment from the St. Sebastian (MA) forward. Not a bad start to the 6-7 freshman’s high school career — and no wonder he’s near the top of the 2026 recruiting class.
To the tape!
