WATCH: Wild trick play wins this Georgia high school football game in 4th overtime

Well, that didn’t take long.

High school football always provides gridiron drama that leaves fans in awe and the crowd roaring in disbelief: wild, rushing hits, perfectly timed TD passes and defensive stands fit for a Hollywood script.

But what happened during the game between Loganville High School (Ga.) and Monroe Area High School (Ga.) might be the best of the best. From everyone.

It happened in the fourth OT — fourth! — from the 13-yard line.

The Loganville quarterback caught the snap and passed the ball to the tight end, pulling off the line of scrimmage … who then went without a look – in the most unsightly way EVER, a la with his back to the end zone, a lift over his head …

At this point the defense looked bewildered – and rightly so – as the hoax unfolded…

And then the ball lands in the outstretched hands of an open receiver (another tight end) in the end zone, who slides to the ground for a pick-six and the OT win, 45-39.

And a scene.

To the tape!

The side view is even more amazing:

It’s safe to say that High School Football 2022 is off to a pretty sold-out start!
