One prospect definitely worth splurging on is the nation’s top uncommitted recruit in the 2023 class: Pinnacle (Ariz.) tight end Duce Robinson.
While he’s expected to ultimately choose Georgia, Robinson isn’t rushing his decision. When asked for an update on National Signing Day, he told ESPN that he’s just not sure where he wants to go yet and wants to have full conviction when he commits.
We now have an update: According to 247SportsRobinson says he has set his engagement date for April 1:
“April 1 is the deadline, so I will make a decision by then. As to when that date might be, I cannot tell you. 100% plan to commit and sign to a school and be there when placement day comes.”
Robinson has received offers from 28 schools generally. Georgia is considered the favorite for him, but several others are in the mix, including USC, Alabama, Texas and Oregon.
He is Tight end #1 of 2023 and ranks No. 17 in its class.
